The price of a translation is calculated per line of 60 characters. When the text is in a file, the word processing program can be used to get a rough idea of how many lines the final translation will have. The number of characters should be divided by 60, not forgetting that the price is based on the target language, which may be longer than the source language.
The size of the text naturally affects the price. We are happy to negotiate a price for large assignments.
As translating specialised texts calls for more extensive research and knowledge of a subject area than with general texts, we charge 10 to 15% more than the guide price in the case of complex level material.
For translations that need to be completed urgently, we can meet your deadline for an additional 50% on top of the guide price unless a minimum quantity has been agreed beforehand with the customer. By urgent translations we mean material to be translated within 24 hours and assignments involving the translation of over 210 lines of 60 characters (roughly seven pages) per day.
